The "bust" part seemed a little too likely as we hit some REALLY spooky weather leaving Manistique this morning!!!!!
As we packed the van, the lake across the road looked like this.

A few miles up the road, rain so hard you could not see ahead...like driving into fine steel wool...dark and thick. At least, I said to myself, it isn't windy. That's when the wind really picked up and some hail joined the torrents of rain. I am happy to report it didn't get worse, since the only thing left to make it worse was a tornado, or the hail getting super big!
This is another band of rain we head under around Escanaba.
Now, after a few more rains, I am looking at the bluest sky with the whitest clouds one could hope to see just outside of Norway (Michigan).
Phew...
Half hour later - dash lights just came on 'cuz it got real dark. Lightening. Whooboy...here we go again. 30 minutes to T'hawk.
