The preparations before a joyful picnic with the boat and outboard engine are simple indeed. Its light weight permits the ladies to carry the engine from the car to the boat, leaving the youngsters free to carry the lunch, the oars, and lighter equipment. Any substantial boat can be quickly converted into a desirable motor boat by attaching the little engine.
Underway in the sunshine. The children and their guardians are off on the long awaited picnic. The sturdy motor on the back of the boat permits of miles of pleasurable cruising. Distance is no longer a bar to prevent a long trip to the most delightful places on the lake. The engine will run for hours on end without effort or attention, and carry the boat surely and speedily to its destination.
The light weight and portability allow the engine to be readily detached from the boat at the end of the day's fun, or if the boat is to be left for a longer period. The youngsters full of pep and sandwiches are eager to help in securing the boat and vote the day's outing an unqualified success, with extra thanks to the little engine which did the heavy work.
