2022 Mystic Seaport Antique Engine Show

This is always a great show as the Seaport is a delightful place to spend time with friends, or sit in the shade of a boat shed overlooking the river reading a book! It was hot in Connecticut that weekend, but the Seaport has great museum buildings with AC and plenty to look at if you felt like chilling down.

I didn't document the larger marine engine section of the show this year but it is impressive.

Kids have plenty to look at and do at Mystic. They even set up a large shallow pool and let folks try radio controlled model speedboat racing.

The warehouse for motors and boats not on exhibit was open for the weekend.  It is an amazing experience to wander around in there.  There are plans to make it an exhibit hall some day.

I love the sound of this boat :-)

Cross Radial running!

The featured motor of the Engine Show was this 1892 Salisbury!
